Promotion of Women’s Rights in Egypt (PoWR)
PoWR is a GIZ-assisted project commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
PoWR aims at enabling women’s rights organizations in Egypt to:
- Build effective and sustainable women's rights network.
- Represent women interests in the political and legal reform debate.

Speak out.....Speak Rights |

PoWR and NWRO produced a short movie entitled "Speak out ...... Speak Rights". The movie introduces one of the activities of NWRO, which is the Youth Camp on Gender Equality. The youth camp which is organized annually aims at, raising awareness about women's rights and gender equality, capacity development of members of women's rights and development organizations as well as youth coalitions to enhance the role of young generation in respect, protection and fulfillment of women's rights in Egypt. to watch the movie click here |
